that like the ottomans and the safavids, the Muhgals were muslims and in the familys, the brothers foght for power and killed eachother. for example the last Muhgal emporer Arangzed killed his brothers and imprisoned his father, Shah Jahan, who built the taj mahal
i cant believe that both the rulers that were alcoholics did a good job ruling the empire. i also think that the tal mahal is really cool because a lot of the marble and gems were brought from far away
Something i thought was interesting was how Akbar was really tolerant of other religions. He even done things that a normal Muslim wouldn't do.He married a Hindu princess and formed alliances with the Hindus.
I also agree with Donna and Harry the Taj Mahal was an amazing place! I was just looking on websites about the Taj Mahal and i found this interesting fact. His wife Mumtaz Mahal, died during the birth of their fourteenth child.
I don't believe you guys have been to Taj Mahal, but A-hammad is right about the how the empire acts, I also thought it interesting how the Mughal empire was so tolerant and accepting of other religions
I agree with Donna how it's interesting how tolerant of other religions akbar was but he was one of the greatest Mughal rulers so being tolerant really worked out for him I guess.
I think it is interesting how many of the leaders like Aurangzeb killed their brothers just to become the ruler but that doesn't really still happen today does it?
I agreee with Silas and Breanne that it was very interesting how some of the emperors had started out so young because couldn't they have found someone older to be the emperor who is more experienced than a 13-year old?
I agree with Donna,Silas, and Tia. Its really interesting that the Mughals had young emperors. Also, the fact that Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal for his wife that died while giving birth to their 14th child. -Brittney
i agree with harry..i think it's weird that some emperors were alcoholics but they did a good job with the empire. i also agree with silas..the emperors were really young.. how did they know how to be an emperor when they were so young? i still cant believe some of the mughals would kill their family just to become an emperor.
i think the most intresting thing i learned about the mugal empire was how the empror married a person of a diffrent religion just for the better of his country i think that that is a really nobel thing to do for your counrty.
i also agree with brianna about the acholalics and
i agree with how awful it was that brothers were killing ethcother over the throne

ReplyDeletei agree with silas, it's very rare to have rulers who are like only 13 and to have people actually take him seriously.
ReplyDelete--breanne
Well people would have to take the ruler seriously, even if they are 13, they are still in charge,
